Trials: specific rules and faq's

 

 

 

 

The National micro-robot National Contest and Seminar, HISPABOT ‘03, kindly asks for collaboration of private or official organizations with no lucrative intentions (Centers, University departments, institutes, associations, etc.), that wish to participate, through the celebration of local competitions, in the selection of participants in the National contest. This national competition will take place at the Politechnic-Scool of the University of Alcalá (Madrid, Spain), during the 29th and 30th of April, 2003.


Participant micro-robots in HISPABOT’2003, will have been previously selected in their respective centers, in their own local competitions, which will have been organized autonomously. Participant centers must register previously, notifying the organization their disposition to organize the aforementioned local trials. Those local contests will be held independently and on their own, in their respective centers. They will also follow their own criteria and rules for such selection, although they should take into account the character of the trials that will take place in HISPABOT’03

In this first edition of the contest the following trials will be held:

  • “Trackers” modality
  • “Speeders” modality
  • “Maze” modality
  • “Free trial” modality
  • “Sumo” modality
  • “Eurobot’03” modality
In order to participate, a form must be sent to the General Secretary Services of HISPABOT’03, in which the intention of organizing local trials, and further participation in HISPABOT’03 is communicated. In this form the following aspects must be remarked: Local Organizing Organization, address, direction, responsible and contact person for HISPABOT affairs, and the trials they wish to participate in. HISPABOT’03 organizing committee, depending on the number of participant centers and selected trials for each one, will set the number of participants for every center, in each trial (see general rules page, to know more details).


HISPABOT’03 will give at least, the following prizes per trial:

  • 1st prize: 600 euros
  • 2nd prize: 300 euros
  • 3rd prize: 150 euros

Besides, those best-classified participants coming from Spain will be given a travel bag (1000Euros), to travel to EUROBOT’03, celebrated in France (http://www.anstj.org/robot/eurobot)
