The Spanish Eurobot 1012 qualification will take place on Thursday April 12th in the Polytechnic Building at University of Alcalá (Alcalá de Henares - Madrid - Spain).

The competition is opened to teams from other countries who want to test their robots for the international final in May at La Ferté Bernard (France).

Free acommodation is offered to teams coming from outside Spain (3 people per team). If more people are coming or they want to stay longer the lodging price wil be 18 euros per night. Lodging will be in the University Students Residencial City (CRUSA) in the University Campus.

The historic University of Alcalá was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1998 and is located in the also historic town of Alcala de Henares, 30 km away from Madrid and well connected to it by train and bus.

Teams interested in participating, have to send an email showing the interest in participating to hispabot@depeca.uah.es before March 29th. The email should indicate the name of the team, the number of people coming, the dates for requested accommodation and means of transport to use.

Approvals and competitions will be on Thursday April 12th in the morning and afternoon. The specific agenda will depend on the number of participating teams. If there are teams coming the day before, a testing session could be also organized.

Spain Eurobot event is part of the
University of Robotics Week of Univiersity of Alcalá, with interesting conferences, workshops, and other robot competitions.
